Terms of Conditions for Hire of Holiday Accommodation

 

Authority to Sign

 

            Bookings will be made strictly by order of deposits and booking forms being received, the contract shall then be between the Tenant and Padstow Holidays. No guarantees of bookings will be given until deposits and booking forms have been received and confirmation has been sent out by Padstow Holidays.  No more then the maximum number of people shown on the property details may occupy the property (unless otherwise already agreed) this includes children.  Violation of this booking condition permits Padstow Holidays to terminate the contract forthwith at any time and all monies paid to Padstow Holidays by the tenant will be forfeit. Bookings can only be accepted from tenants over 18 years of age.  By signing of the booking form the tenant confirms that they have read and understood the description of the property being booked and confirms that all members of the party have agreed to the terms and conditions and booking conditions.

 

Booking / Cancellations

 

A deposit of 25 % of the total tariff is required at the time of booking; all bookings must be made through Padstow Holidays, the agent.  Balance of the tariff must be received 6 weeks prior to arrival.  Reminders are not sent by Padstow Holidays.  A booking will only be accepted in writing on Padstow Holidays official booking form.  All cancellations must be made in writing.  Where the tenant cancels their booking they will remain liable for the full amount of tariff.  However if Padstow Holidays are able to re rent the accommodation then Padstow Holidays  will return any monies paid, minus any expenses occurred.

 

Pets

 

Pets are welcome in certain properties.  We expect all tenants to comply with the following pet rules:

×     Pets are to be kept under control at all times                                                

×     All furniture, beds, sofas to be respected and dogs kept off.

×     If your dog is moulting etc extra cleaning charges will apply                        

×     If your dogs mess anywhere it is to be cleaned up immediately. 

 

Problems / complaints

 

    Any problems complaints must be reported within 48 hours of occupying a property to enable Padstow Holidays to rectify the problem.  No complaints will be accepted after the end of a stay at a property.

 

Non availability of property

 

If for any unforeseeable reason a property becomes unavailable for all or part of your booking i.e. due to flooding, fire damage etc, then Padstow Holidays will make every effort to find alternative accommodation.  Alternatively Padstow Holidays will refund all monies paid in respect of the period of unavailability or offer an alternative week accommodation.

Left items

 

Padstow Holiday takes no responsibility for left items after departure of accommodation.  If the tenant leave an item behind contact Padstow Holidays straight away to allow the cleaning team time to search for the item before the new guest arrive.  If the item is found postage money will be expected from tenants to return the item.  Lost items not claimed will be discarded of after 28 days of departure date.

 

Security deposit

 

All Tenants are to pay a £200 refundable deposit. This is to be a totally separate cheque as it will not be cashed with the tariff.  It will be returned within 2 weeks of the tenants departure, on the condition that no deductions are needed (i.e. cleaning monies not left, on departure or damage has occurred to a property).  If charges are to be made the deposit will be cashed straight away and damages deducted.

 

Tenant Rules

 

× Not  to create a nuisance to neighbouring properties.

× To pay for additional services and rental charges of additional items.

× To pay for any damage caused during a stay at any of Padstow Holidays accommodation.

× To allow Padstow Holidays access to the property for inspection, repairs.

× To leave before 10:00 am on day of departure.

× Not to exceed the number of people specified in the properties write up without permission of Padstow Holidays.

× Agree to dispose of rubbish sensibly and put dustbin out on day of collection. (Collection day stated in property folder).

 

Breach of contract

 

            Padstow Holidays as the agent / owner of the accommodations reserve the right to terminate the accommodation rental at any time if there is a breach of any of Padstow Holidays Terms and Conditions or Booking conditions.

 

Insurance

 

All tenants are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance.

 

Liability

 

Padstow Holidays or accommodation owners are not liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of the owner or any other person, nor for any accident, damage, loss or injury, expenses or inconvenience to any person or thing brought on to the property, nor for personal injury or loss of life.
