Padstow
is located on the west banks of the camel estuary opposite Rock.
Padstow is a maze of picturesque narrow streets of traditional Cornish
buildings all surrounding the busy harbour, this quaint town has
something for everyone. There are a wide variety of inns, restaurants,
and cafes around the harbour that will cater for all tastes. The
Camel Trail starts in Padstow, following the route of the old railway
line to Bodmin, and is much loved by walkers and cyclists. The
route is alongside the estuary through the beautiful country side which
is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Padstow itself has many
places to visit Prideaux Place, the Deer Park, Padstow museum and the
famous Seafood Restaurant.
St Merryn
Village is a traditional Cornish village situated 3 miles from
Padstow. With shops, bakery, post office, several restaurants,
takeaways, bistro and village pubs. St Merryn is ideally located
for all the nearby bays (7sandy beaches). The nearest beach Harlyn
Bay is less than a mile away, as is Trevose golf course. There are
many beautiful cliff top walks close by.
St Merryn
Holiday Village is situated 1 mile from St Merryn and 3 miles
from Padstow. Privately owned detached holiday homes (there is
also a residential side). A pleasant location with 2 tennis courts
(free to use if staying in one of the homes) large open field for dog
walking. There are 2 beaches only a 5 minute drive away.
Constantine Bay
Unspoilt beautiful sandy bay, fantastic views, 1st class golf course, 5
minute drive to Padstow, or a walk into St Merryn.
